I went to see Dr. Zhang after five frustrating months with the NH S and physiotherapists. I had damaged the medial ligaments in my knees in a freak accident, and was often in considerable pain when walking or even standing still. There months of physiotherapy brought no relief whatsoever. After just three sessions with Dr. Zhang, though, I can walk across town pain free! Still more work to be done on the injury, but there has been incredible improvement in a very short period of time.

Richard Burton - Backache following slipped disc

I have suffered with backache for many years following a suggested slipped disc. The pain has been chronic and due to having a desk job this adds additional pressure on my lower back. Sleeping can be a problem due to the discomfort. At times without any treatment my lower back can seize up which is very painful and vastly restricting movement. I am happily due to have my next session with Dr Zhang where he uses acupuncture, a heat lamp and electrical stimulus through the needles, then followed by deep tissue massage on the problem area. Dr Zhang also provides excellent advice on exercises to help with the problem. My mobility, sleep and general well-being have improved

I was suffering from a frozen shoulder for quite a few months before I visited Good Health and met with Dr Zhang. I had investigated a number of options including cortisone injections but unfortunately none appeared to make any difference and ease the problem. The pain I experienced from my shoulder was extremely agonising and uncomfortable and restricted what I was able to do like wash my hair as it was impossible to move my arm above my shoulder.After explaining my symptoms to Dr Zhang he recommend a course of acupuncture. Having not had the treatment before I was had no great expectations and was a little apprehensive however I was delighted with the treatment and after only a couple of sessions together with a massage and a series exercise routines suggested by Dr Zhang, my shoulder became less and less painful and I was able to resume normal life. Over the months of treatment I have gained full use of my shoulder and as a result highly recommend the acupuncture and the Good Health clinic.
