Experience
"I graduated in 1995 from Liaoning University with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM); completing my internship in a medical hospital in China. My main TCM fields of expertise are in pain management, sports injuries, mental health, stress and anxiety. Although I do address many other illnesses with a high level of success.
Since graduating in China, I have continued to learn from best worldwide experts in acupuncture to expand my knowledge and skills. With specialty techniques in head acupuncture using Dr Jiao’s techniques, training from the founder of FSN Zhong Hua Fu, as well as spirit needling training from Dr Xiao Chuan Pan.
Over the numerous years, I have gained extensive experience in treating people for a wide range of complaints ranging from pain, anxiety, trauma, depression, digestive problems, skin complaints, stress and other health problems.
In my treatments I use a mixture of acupuncture, massage, lifestyle, herbal medicine, cupping and moxibustion.
I believe that problems can originate from a variety of different sources. I use my awareness and experience in tracing back the origin of a problem and tackling it there, which gives a deep level of treatment".
Sarah initially trained to teach Reiki, Crystal Healing, Peruvian Shamanic, and Munay-Ki rites. In 2013, she then returned to college to study Hair&Beauty.
Regrettably, during her studies, she received a diagnosis of a debilitating condition, Fibromyalgia, that caused severe pain and chronic fatigue. This condition drove her to seek professional help from Jun Zhang, Good Health TCM L'boro Clinic's resident acupuncturist. Consequently, these benefits conveyed and inspired her love affair with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The initial treatments enabled the completion of her studies and further encouraged her to enrol on an acupuncture degree in 2017.
Sarah spent four years completing her degree whilst also undertaking training courses. These included sports massage, seated massage, acupuncture for sports injuries, kinesiology taping and first aid, alongside volunteering at the clinic to build up her experience.
In 2021 Sarah graduated with an honours degree in acupuncture, joining the clinic as a part-time acupuncturist. Sarah brings the following skills to our clinic:
