What is Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)?

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been held in high esteem for over 3,000 years. At present in the medical field, it is widely acknowledged that a combination of Western medicines and complementary health practices, such as TCM, are beneficial for treating the symptoms of a range of conditions and ailments.

Western medicine is excellent at treating issues, including first aid, operations, preventing the spread of epidemic diseases, and sustaining life activities.

Traditional styles of acupuncture utilise an understanding of health and illness that has developed for over 2000 years. This theoretical knowledge guides the diagnosis, selection of points and whether to use moxibustion or needles. However, it is not a replacement for life-threatening diseases like Cancer but instead holds a supportive role. However, TCM is able to treat numerous conditions and diseases, including functional imbalances, disorders of the immune system, muscular-skeletal conditions, degenerative conditions, senility problems, sub-health statuses, and various difficult health problems. However, the main advantage it holds over Western medicines is that it takes into consideration the mind, body, and spirit as a holistic system.

However, for the treatment of other types of conditions, a recent trend growing on people is to give preference to 'green' and more natural alternative medicines.

We use a mixture of herbal treatments, acupuncture and Tui-Na (chinese massage), just to name a few methods - and always tailoring our treatments to you. In recent years, more and more people in the world have become interested in TCM.

It is our special honour to share this great medicine with you and other friends throughout the world!
